When it comes to signature elements of a fashion house, colors play an equally important part next to top fashion products in shaping the brand’s image and preserving its heritage. Today, we are going to talk about one of the most recognizable colors in the industry - the Hermès orange.

Hermès has many varieties of orange: Potiron, Cornaline, Terre Battue, Crevette, Orange Poppy, Moutarde, Capucine, Sanguine, and Hermès Feu, among others. And there is also Hermès Orange, the classic orange that is used for Hermès boxes. But did you know that they were not always orange, although it has been the brand’s signature color for years? Here is the story.
