London Fashion Week began yesterday and celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, and there is a lot to remember. On Tuesday, we talked about the history of LFW, and today we want to focus on one landmark show: Alexander McQueen’s N°13. 

You probably remember it for the iconic finale with Shalom Harlow and the robots, and we will cover it of course, but there are other notable moments and fun facts about this show you should know about. 

  1. Why N°13? 

Do you know why the late fashion designer named his collection “N°13”? It was his 13th show since launching his eponymous label in 1992.

The Spring 1999 show was staged on September 28, 1998, at Gatliff Road Warehouse, an unused former bus depot in London’s Victoria neighborhood.
