Gucci is hiring! How to apply? Step-by-step
365 days of fashion: the e-ncyclopedia of fashion
Monday, January 20, 2025
Happy Monday! As a new week starts, I am also excited to introduce a new type of content here on 365 days of fashion.
Over the past 10+ years since founding Glam Observer, my mission has been to help fashion enthusiasts break into the industry and land their dream jobs. Through my popular Break Into the Fashion Industry course, I’ve shared all the essential strategies and tools you need to succeed.
This new content, however, is a perfect complement to the course. It’s tailored for those of you who are ready to go a step further, whether you’re already enrolled or simply looking for actionable advice to improve your job applications.
With this new content (if you like it so I’ll be waiting for your comments!), I’ll take an open job or internship listing, break it down, and provide insights into the responsibilities, skills, and brand history associated with the role. The aim is to arm you with everything you need to craft a strong application, build confidence, and ace your interview.
This week, we’re kicking things off by analyzing a Merchandising Internship opportunity at Gucci in Paris.
GUCCI - Stage Assistant(e) Merchandising - Paris | Kering
If you are not able to apply right now or because you don’t live in the city, it’s okay because the tips we share will be useful for any merchandising position or another role at Gucci or another company. By learning how to analyze a job description, you will learn what to pay attention to, so you don’t miss out on any important information that should be mentioned on your resume or during a job interview if the recruiter asks you (and they might).
