H&M signed a long-term partnership with Heron Preston
The New York-based designer Heron Preston has been named menswear advisor by H&M and will also create his own signature collections for the Swedish retailer, launching in 2024. This partnership will operate under the H2 platform, which they say is a “collaborative platform, built on the pillars of design, advisory, special collections, empowering young talent, and circular innovation” according to the Fashion Network.
Heron Preston is an artist, designer, DJ, consultant, art director, and collaborator. He graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City in 2008 and worked with Nike and Kanye West before launching his namesake label in 2016 which includes collaborations with Virgil Abloh's Off-White, and NASA.

Retailed at $160, the sneakers will be available worldwide on Puma.com come September 15.

Marie Claire France creates a new font
September issues are the strongest of the year, but not only in terms of wonderful covers and big shopping edits. The September issue of Marie Claire France marks a debut of the magazine’s new visual identity with the creation of a new font that the artistic director Adrien Pelletier developed in collaboration with Paris and Shanghai-based design agency Production Type.
“This new artistic impulse will give even greater resonance to our content and should allow Marie Claire to position itself as an even more premium magazine. With better pacing, visual cues and space, the reading experience will gain in clarity and quality. Our digital and social platforms are also included in the same ambitious aesthetic momentum,” said editorial director Katell Pouliquen to WWD.

Richemont creates a new beauty division
The Laboratoire de Haute Parfumerie et Beauté division will help Richemont’s brands that sell fragrances reach “critical mass in this highly competitive field, where scale is crucial,” said group chairman Johann Rupert to BoF. According to the digital platform, while many luxury houses license their beauty lines to giants of the beauty industry like L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, and Coty, there are others like Richemont that prefer to develop, manufacture, and promote their beauty products in-house as means to access a wider consumer audience, have the control over production and distribution, and strengthen the brand’s identity by going into a new niche.
Ann Demeulemeester launched first perfume
The founder of her namesake label released her first genderless perfume named “A” which she created for the Belgian house. This is a project she has been working on since 2020, and her first creation since leaving the brand in 2013.

Fashion Career Tip of the Week
Having trouble deciding what to wear for a fashion job interview?
First impressions count – especially in the glamorous fashion industry, which values style and aesthetics. The clothes you wear offer a glimpse into your personality and indicate your level of professionalism, so you have to take them seriously. That being said, by trying to do it right, people often fall into the extreme of overdoing it. They think that working in fashion involves wearing designer pieces and dressing like influencers.
Therefore, you can be left with the question of how to dress up properly for a job interview in fashion, if the requirements are different from another industry, and how to respect the company dress code without doing too much or not enough.
Since a job interview is a crucial moment in your career, we wanted to be your style guide for the day and help you decide what to wear for a fashion job interview.
You’ll learn:
